INteresting, as I have been using Blogger mostly in the past, but I’m looking for alternatives to Blogger and Wordpress. Some free blog service with no advertising would be best.

een doing some research into free blog services. But more than that, I’ve been looking for some blog services that are free And easy to use. Blogger and Wordpress, but I want a free blog service that allows my advertising on it.

I’ll be posting a list of these free blog services in the posts coming up before the new year.

Watstat Site Like Wikipedia

You can see there are allot of other webmasters who are trying to build their own Wiki sites these days. My favorite Wiki platform is DokuWiki, and there are others using exactly the same software as Wikipedia.

A good example is this site, called Watstat. They use the Wikipedia software platform for their site. Interesting to me anyway.

I think Watstat is supposed to mean “What’s That?” Hmmm…

The 3 day Toontown Trial Download is like an addiction worse than crack (so I read today) 

The kids download the 3 day Toontown trial download last week and it was allot of fun. The kids loved it and so did I. Quite addictive I must say. I now have the kids begging me to subscribe to Disney on a monthly basis.

You can download the 3 day trial for Toontown here. Be careful though. Once the kids get hooked your going to be “on the hook” for a monthly payment if they get it their way. I’ll sign up for a month or two until the kids get bored with it.

Watch out for those nasty “computer screen eyes”, all blurry and bloodshot.

Pretty pathetic if you ask me, and this post is spot on. This guy is way off balance, and if he really had a soul he stay out of sight in honor of the families who lost Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown. 

OJ Simpson surely needs a Silii Dork Award, and here it is. I agree that his ego is way out of control as usual.

Chris Crocker makes Yahoo! and now the Silii Dork awards. His last video to make a splash and even make it on the front page of Yahoo! was regarding the Britney Spears 2007 MTV performance disaster. 

Watch this video with the sound off because it’s REALLY annoying. My prediction is he’ll make a hollywood career from his Internet video. One more hollywood production I won’t be watching. Probably see a reality show for Chris Tucker as well.

You will find that Chris spends allot of time praising his gay lifestyle, and defending himself against people dislike him. His need for attention is going to manifest attention. The question he’ll have to answer is if he really wants the kind of attention he’s been getting.

Paris Hilton' Mom and Sis' Worry About Her

It seems not only Paris but her family as well is struggling to come to terms with Paris’ sentence. If mother Kathy Hilton and sister Nicky are to be believed then Paris Hilton is really having a tough time in jail.

Paris Hilton’s dilapidated condition came as a shock to her mother and sister the intensity such that they almost felt choked. But somehow they controlled their emotions, as it would have made Paris’ sentence further unbearable.

Narrating her visit to jail Kathy Hilton said:

It’s tough. It is. And Nicky left in hysterics. She tried to keep the brave face but I never see her crying.

Nevertheless a related incident has also come to the fore that has put a question mark on the entire saga of Paris offence, her trail and subsequent jail. The incident is of Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo’s wife, who got away with just $186 fine for a similar traffic violation.

If there is some truth in the allegations then after her sentence Paris has something worth fighting for.

Donald Trump Speaks On Rosie's New Feud - Of Course

Of course trump had to open his big mouth over the Rosie fued with Hasselbeck. “The Donald” is the biggest fool of the three, lacking in taste regarding every aspect of his cheesy existence. 

Donald Trump has weighed in on Wednesday's war of words between Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Rosie O'Donnell, surprisingly taking O’Donnell’s side while still managing to insult both co-hosts of "The View" and to voice his opposition to the war in Iraq.

“On this one I think Rosie should win, but Rosie is not much herself. I think anybody that’s against the war in Iraq is the winner of the fight, because to justify the war in Iraq — only an imbecile could do that," he told "Extra."

About Hasselbeck’s political views, especially on the war in Iraq, he added, “Elisabeth is not a very smart person, she’s one of the dumber people in television. To see that she supports the war, and she’s solidly behind the war, give me a break.”

Trump later told reporters that Hasselbeck was "probably the dumbest person on TV."

In response to Hasselbeck calling him obnoxious, he said, “Well I am obnoxious, on that she’s right.”

On whether Trump thinks the fight has forced O’Donnell to quit the ABC talk show before her last day on the air, which is scheduled for June 22, he said, “I think Rosie will be back” and added, “She’s self-destructing, and it’s too bad.”

Watching O'Donnell and Hasselbeck squabble on "The View" is nothing new, but Wednesday's dustup seemed particularly nasty with the co-hosts trading accusations and personal digs.

A political discussion over the war in Iraq became heated when an angry O'Donnell decried Hasselbeck for not standing up for her when media outlets suggested that she'd called U.S. troops "terrorists" during a previous debate.

"What you did was not defend me. ... I asked you if you believed what the Republican pundits were saying — you said nothing, and that's cowardly," O'Donnell said.

Responded a stern Hasselbeck: "Do not call me a coward, because No. 1, I sit here every single day, open my heart and tell people what I believe."

O'Donnell and Hasselbeck were shown on a split screen as the argument progressed without commercial interruption.

"Do you believe that I think our troops are terrorists? And you would not even look me in the face, Elisabeth, and say, 'No, Rosie,'" O'Donnell said.

Responded Hasselbeck: "Because you are an adult, and I am certainly not going to be the person for you to explain your thoughts. They're your thoughts! Defend your own insinuations!"

O'Donnell, who is leaving the ABC daytime talk show next month, said she wasn't going to fight anymore. "So for three weeks, you can say all the Republican crap you want."

Hasselbeck discussed the war of words in an interview with syndicated entertainment show "Extra."

"I honestly think, I believe that we are mature women who can resolve," she said. "I hope we can. I would hope that a disagreement or a heated debate wouldn't be the end of a relationship."

In a posting on her blog, O'Donnell wrote: "a split screen, new heights, or lows, depending on who u ask."

Jessica Simpson said shes was happy with her current situation. I guess she has to settle with being rich, famous, and beautiful.

The same day that news broke of her split from John Mayer, Jessica Simpson says she's "very happy."

Asked by PEOPLE about the split at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday, Simpson replied: "I am very happy, but I don't really want to talk about my personal life tonight because it's not what it's about. But I am very happy. I will let you know that."

The singer-actress officially announced her newest film project, Major Movie Star, at the festival Friday.

Simpson, wearing an off-the-shoulder sequined dress, arrived at the Budweiser Select yacht at 10:15 p.m. in Cannes to help promote her new role in the upcoming military caper, which starts shooting in July in Louisiana.

Earlier this month Simpson's rep confirmed to PEOPLE that the singer had signed on for the title role in the comedy, about a down-on-her-luck actress who enlists in the Marines.

Earlier Friday, sources close to both Simpson and Mayer confirmed that the couple had parted ways – but not necessarily for good.

"They have broken up," a source tells PEOPLE. "But they have broken up and gotten back together at least 10 times before."

Another source said the pair have "been e-mailing and talking to each other" since Simpson arrived in Cannes on Wednesday.

Bay Buchanan showed her true colors last night on the Cobert Report, when talking about the Mexican/American border issue.

When discussing the new bill on the matter, Bay said that Mexicans can’t read english, and that corporate America still wants them as “guest workers” because they don’t want to lose the “cheap labor”.

This is not real surprise coming from a Buchanan, but my question is, where are bleeding hearts that went after Don Imus. I find what Bay Buchanan said to be disgusting, and she should have her authority and job stripped too.

Of course, Bay also went on spout her brother’s baloney about a double fence and wall at the border, and some jeeps to pick up the “illegals”. She also wanted to see the all the other “illegal aliens” sent back home.

What a sweet gal.

Leonardo DiCaprio's Neighbor Charges For Damages

Leonardo DiCaprio's neighbor is charging him with an offensive foul, claiming the actor excavated the neighboring property without permission and damaged plants and hedges to build a basketball court at his home. 

Legal papers filed last week in Superior Court by Ronald and Joan Linclau said the construction weakened a hillside and left their deck and pool in danger of collapse.

The lawsuit seeks at least $250,000 in damages. DiCaprio "failed to exercise ordinary care ... in making the excavations and failed to take reasonable precautions to sustain the adjoining land ... in its natural state," the suit claimed.

A DiCaprio spokesman, Ken Sunshine, said the lawsuit "is totally without merit." The lawsuit claimed DiCaprio ignored warnings that he was trespassing on the property, located in the hills above Sunset Boulevard.

Hard to believe that Orlando Bloom is going to the web for love, but apparently it’s true. (they wouldn’t print it if it wasn’t true…. right? Right.

Phil Spector Held Me At Gunpoint!

A 3^rd lady told Spector's murder trial on Wed how the music producer threatened her with a hand-gun, years before he allegedly shot dead a B-movie actress at his home.

Stephanie Jennings was the third woman called by the prosecution to show that Spector had a pattern of pulling guns on female companions that led to the shooting of actress Lana Clarkson, 40, in the foyer of his suburban Alhambra mansion on Feb. 3. 2003. She died of gunshot fired with the weapon in her mouth.

Spector's defense claims Clarkson shot herself.

Jennings said she developed a long-distance relationship with Spector in 1994 and the following year she joined him for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions in New York, where Spector got her a room on his floor of the Carlisle Hotel.

She described being at a party where Spector became "extremely drunk, obnoxious" and said she went back to her room and went to sleep.

Jennings said a Spector bodyguard later knocked at her door and told her Spector wanted her to come to his room. She said that after she refused, Spector showed up.

"He was definitely drunk and he was loud and demanding that I come over to his room," Jennings said.

She said Spector told her he was paying for her room and if she wanted to stay she had to go to his room.

Jennings said she told him she would pay for the room and as she began to gather her belongings, especially her camera equipment, Spector followed her around yelling and calling her names as she began to cry.

At some point he followed her into the bathroom and he slapped or pushed her, Jennings said.

"I ended up falling backwards on the toilet," she said.

"I jumped up and I grabbed him and he fell into the bathtub," she said.

She said he got up without a word, left and then came back to her room.

"He had his gun with him and he pulled a chair and put it in front of the door and said I wasn't going anywhere," Jennings said. She described it only as a small gun.

"How did you feel?" asked Deputy District Attorney Alan Jackson.

"That I was about to get shot," Jennings said. "I didn't know what was going to happen. I sat on the bed crying."

The witness said she picked up the phone but Spector didn't realize she was calling 911.

"He made the comment that, 'You can call your mom all you want, she can't help you now,"' Jennings said.

The 911 operator told her police would be arriving and by the time they did, she said, Spector was distracted by a commotion in the hallway and left the room. When officers arrived, she said, they didn't take her seriously.

"They were treating me as if I was a call girl," Jennings said.

She said the hotel manager came with the officers and she was urged to go down to his office and talk. Jennings said she did not press charges and the manager gave her money to take a train back to her home in Philadelphia.

Jennings testified that in spite of the incident she accepted an invitation a year later to attend the same event as Spector's guest, but only on the condition that "I wouldn't even see him."

She said she felt she needed to be at the party for her photography contacts "but I wasn't going to be alone with him."

Subsequently, she said, he invited her to a birthday party as his date but she stood him up because she had a new relationship. She said he then left a series of "horrible" phone messages and threatened to make sure she would never work again.

She said Spector then called her one day and said he was in a studio with Celine Dion and asked if she wanted to take pictures. She said she told Spector she could not come that day and he broke off contact.

Spector, 67, was a top producer in the 1960s and later oversaw albums by John Lennon and George Harrison.

Clarkson's big role was in Roger Corman's 1985 "Barbarian Queen." She was a nightclub hostess when she met Spector and went to his home.

Paris Hilton has been working hard to stay on the street and from behind the dark bars of jail. She’s reaching out to fans, in an attempt to sign a petition to keep her out of jail.

Her arrogance obviously knows no boundaries, as she thinks she’s above the law. This spoiled little bitch thinks that everyone else can “do the time”, but she is just to special for the clink.

The 26-year-old was ordered by a Los Angeles judge on Friday to report to a county jail by June 5 to serve a 45-day sentence for violating the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

Hilton's plea, on her MySpace website, came as her lawyers filed a notice with the court indicating their intent to appeal.

The hotel heiress urged fans to join her in a desperate plea to California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to keep her out of jail.

She wrote on her blog: "My friend Joshua started this petition, please help and sihn (sic) it. i LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!"

The petition reads: "Paris Whitney Hilton is an American celebrity and socialite. She is an heiress to a share of the Hilton Hotel fortune, as well as to the real estate fortune of her father Richard Hilton. She provides hope for young people all over the US and the world. She provides beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives."

"We, the American public who support Paris, are shocked, dismayed and appalled by how Paris has been the person to be used as an example that Drunk Driving is wrong...

"This petition is to ask Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon Paris Hilton for her mistake. Please allow her to her return to her career and life."

But legal experts say Paris has little chance of staying out of jail.

One experienced attorney who specialises in driving under the influence (DUI) cases said: "Her chances of winning an appeal are little to none. The prosecutors had a slam dunk case. The evidence was overwhelming that she repeatedly violated her probation."

Paris has claimed that police only stop her so they can hit on her. She said: "I think I get in more trouble just because of who I am.

"The cops do it all the time. "

"They'll just pull me over to hit on me. It's really annoying. They're like, 'What's your phone number? Want to go to dinner?' "

Last night, the hotel heiress attended lawyer Robert Shapiro's 'Sober Day USA' party accompanied by publicist Elliot Mintz, who she sacked after he admitted responsibility for her 45-day jail sentence. The pair confirmed Mintz had been rehired.

Mintz said: "The rumours of our professional separation were over-exaggerated."

Paris's possible jail time will be welcomed by Christian group The Resistance. They are planning to celebrate Paris' jail sentence by trashing her CDs at US Hilton hotels.

The Resistance founder Mark Diceof , who have previously criticised 50 Cent and Jessica Simpson for being bad role models - will speak at the Beverly Hilton on June 5 - the day Paris is due to begin her sentence.

He said: "The kinds of role models that have come to light recently in America are horrible. "She is an extremely materialistic, uneducated person who rose to prominence because of a homemade sex video. Now we have all these young, preteen and teenage girls who really look up to her.

"We're going to be throwing her CDs in huge trash cans and getting them off the face of the Earth."

JAIL-BOUND Paris Hilton has urged fans to sign a petition to pardon her because she "provides beauty and excitement to our otherwise mundane lives".

Costume Institute Celebrates Poiret

Fashion Wire Daily - Everything from the champagne to the frocks was free-flowing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute gala Monday night. With the help of their designer friends, a bevy of celebrity beauties donned their most exquisite to walk the red carpet in honor of Paul Poiret and his designs as the "King of Fashion."

Lindsay Lohan looked particularly fetching and calm in a floor length black Bally gown accompanied by designer Brian Atwood. But not one to leave her party girl persona at home, the bust of Lohan's dress was covered in a barely-there gossamer material that left little to the imagination. Although deemed one of the most glamorous events of the season, there were quite a few red carpet fixtures that followed suit in eye-popping looks.

John Mayer but accompanied by designer Roberto Cavalli, wore a skin tight, shiny number by her designer date that showed plenty of her assets.  Julianne Moore, who strolled down the red carpet with YSL designer Stefano Pilati, wore a white tux dress that exposed more than the public is used to seeing on the resplendent redhead.

Woman Testifies Phil Spector Forced Her Into It

A woman close to Phil Spector in the mid 1980s testified at his murder trial Monday that once he suddenly turned "demonic," forced her at gunpoint into his bedroom and tried to have sex with her.

LOS ANGELES —  A woman close to Phil Spector in the 1980s testified at his murder trial Monday that once he suddenly turned "demonic," forced her at gunpoint into his bedroom and tried to have sex with her.

Veteran music talent coordinator Dianne Ogden told of the 1989 incident in which the famed record producer seemed to undergo a personality change as she tried to leave his mansion in Pasadena after a party.

"He was screaming at me, the F-word," she said. "He wasn't my Phil, not the man I loved. It wasn't him. He was demonic. It scared the hell out of me."

Ogden was the second woman called by prosecutors trying to prove that Spector's pattern of threatening women with guns led to the killing of actress Lana Clarkson, who was shot through the mouth at his Alhambra mansion in 2003.

Spector, 67, has pleaded not guilty in the shooting. Defense attorneys have argued she shot herself.

Ogden testified that Spector tried to have sex with her, but did not. At some point, she said, he told her over and over that he was going to blow her brains out.

The next morning she awoke to Spector singing in the shower "like nothing had happened," she said. Ogden forgave him because she thought he had a drinking problem, she said.

"I really did care about him and if we were going to make love I didn't want it to be like that," she said.

Another time, she said, she went to his house for a gathering with two friends and when she got up to leave, Spector again tried to keep her from going. "He said, 'I have an Uzi with me and I'm going to kill you,"' she said.

Ogden said he ran after her with the Uzi in his hand but she jumped into her car and gunned the engine. She never saw him again after that, she testified.

She said she never told her story to law enforcement and was only speaking Monday because she was under subpoena.

Defense attorney Bruce Cutler suggested Ogden added things to her testimony that she had not told investigators.

Earlier in the trial, former Spector girlfriend Dorothy Melvin testified that he threatened her with a gun and hit her on the head when she tried to leave his Pasadena home. She said she called police after fleeing but didn't press charges.

On Monday, jurors heard expletive-laced phone messages from Spector to Melvin, telling her "be careful what you say to me because nothing you say is worth your life."

There were also several messages in which Spector apologized for his behavior.

Spector rose to fame in the 1960s and '70s, changing rock music with what became known as the "Wall of Sound" recording technique. Clarkson, who was a hostess at the House of Blues when she met Spector, was best known for a 1980s role in Roger Corman's "Barbarian Queen."

Singer George Michael Drug Driving

Pop star George Michael admitted driving while unfit through drugs on the first day of his trial at a London court.

The 43-year-old singer was arrested last October after passing motorists in the northwest of the British capital called emergency services in the early hours when they spotted him slumped in his Mercedes car blocking a junction.

Appearing confused during the hearing at Brent Magistrates' Court in north London, Michael, real name George Panayiotou, said he was guilty due to "tiredness and prescribed drugs".

Prosecutors dropped a further charge of being in charge of a vehicle while unfit through drugs.

Michael rose to fame as one half of the duo Wham! in the 1980s. He later had worldwide solo hits including Careless Whisper and Faith selling more than 85 million records globally.

He is due to start a British and European tour later this month.
